At a quarter past two
Moonlight so blue
Illumines her face
In slumbering grace
A woman yet a child
Breathing steady, breathing mild
And I form the shadow of a man kneeling down
Careful not to make a sound
This is a sacred moment, and
Where she lay, a sacred place
Sleeping wife, precious life
What dreams do your eyelids hide?
Are you free
Or trapped inside?
Is it something good
Or something bad?
Are you happy
Or are you sad?
From the outside I am watching
And waiting to know
Still
Behind and below
Brown eyes travel to and fro
Up and down and all around
Visions sweep from side to side
Then—a hint from underneath
She moans and grinds her teeth
So I touch her hair
And she smiles
Because she knows that I am HERE
And also THERE

The last time I had a blissful full nights rest was when I was being watched over by a man who loved me. I think there’s a peaceful energy that flows to us when we’re wrapped in love while sleeping. I enjoy reading your posts, so many warm fuzzy’s flow in them.

Hello again, my faithful friend! If anyone walks the empty streets of my ghost town blog, I’m very pleased that it’s you.

Awww, thanks. WordPress makes it hard to meet other bloggers. Their explore tabs could use some work. I have found that if I visit some of the major blogs they push on their readers feed those can be really boring. However, a couple of bigger bloggers I can think of like Jason’s blog over at https://aopinionatedman.com/2018/08/28/13-reasons-my-followers-left/ and Arts blog over at https://pouringmyartout.com/ are both a bit crazy, but never boring, and are good places to find other bloggers in the comment sections if you want to expand your reading and readership. You’re an excellent writer, a good commenter, and if that’s you in the avatar you’re also adorable so you’re the perfect combination for a blog to follow. 🙂 Have fun blogging. 🙂
